What do I need to bring? When attending a distribution, you will be asked to provide demographic information about your household, but Manna on Meridian does not check identification or require income documentation. If attending a Sunday walk-up distribution, consider bringing 1-2 recyclable grocery bags.
Can I pick up items for myself and a neighbor in need? Yes, when there are sufficient availability, it is possible to pick up for more than one household. Manna reserves the right to limit distributed items based on the availability of items during a distribution.
What's the difference between the Saturday and Sunday distributions? The Saturday distribution is a drive-thru distribution, making it more accessible for those experiencing mobility issues. This distribution typically provides 25-30 lbs. of groceries and may include dry goods (e.g., cereal, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables/beans/soup, mac n' cheese, rice, peanut butter), a loaf of sliced bread, fresh produce, and frozen protein. The Sunday distribution provides an opportunity to select food from items that were picked up from two grocery stores earlier in the day. As a result, the quantity and variety of items available vary greatly.
